Woman Aloud

Storytelling is the ancient art of conveying events in words, often by improvisation or embellishment. Stories or narratives have been shared in every culture and in every land as a means of entertainment, education, preservation of culture and in order to instill moral values. There can be much truth in a story of fiction, and much falsehood in a story that uses facts.

Woman Aloud shares the pains and pleasures of her extraordinary life with audiences across the country in her one woman show "The C in me" Food in my fridge shares some moments from the show, which is rude and lewd but has a heart of gold. Her shows reflect her whacky slant on life through her saucy verse and rhyme whilst giving us all a lesson on the dangers of Hepatitis C. They say laughter is the best medicine. Well this lady will make you laugh - but more than this, her message could also save your life. In addition to the show, Woman Aloud writes anecdotes about her life and the lives of those around her, poetry with a comedic twist, and often with a hidden, powerful message.
